Impressions Advertising Specialties

This blog site is for learning about Advertising Specialties and how to successfully use them in the marketing of your business, organization or event. As competition grows keeping "Top of Mind awareness" with your customers is becoming more and more difficult. We are bombarded by thousands of ads daily so to effectively stand out in the jungle we really have to think outside the box. The big question is "How do you stay, In My Face" with out being "In My Face". This may sound difficult but can really be quite simple. Your ad needs to help ease a little pain. I will talk about pain in just a minute.

We can do this by looking at who your customer is and where he/she will be when they are most likely to "Need your goods and services". Once we know this small but very important pieces of information we can start looking at a vehicle to bring our message to this potential client. Good example: Imagine a working mom having a really hard day at the office. She drives home and the first thing the family wants to know is "what's for supper". Now we are talking pain. Lets see. We have have to plan supper, thaw something out, cook it, set the table, eat and then wash the dishes. AHHHHHHH. Cooking is the last thing on her mind. Wow what an opportunities for the local pizza delivery guy. All we need is a small ad in front of "Mom" and we have an order. A .20 cent magnet on the refridgerator is all we need to land this order and mom is in the tub taking a buble bath. We cured moms pain.

Lets recap this situation
Mom's problem today was not wanting to cook and this was causing some pain. The kitchen magnet was in front of mom at a point in time when she was most likely needing a piazza delivery service.
She orders pizza and everyone is happy.

Now not all situations are this simple but the process we go through to find a way to get our message in front of a customer is very similar. Ad specialties are a great way to do this. We need to know our customers and the goods and services that they will be needing. Once we know this, we need to look at where they will be when these needs arrive. At this time we can put our message in front of this potential customer using a promotional product or advertising specialty item
